Founding cohort · veterans & first responders

A course of treatment, at no cost, for the people who ran toward the worst days.

We're opening a founding-cohort program for a limited number of local veterans and first responders. You receive a full course of doctor-supervised care at no cost. In return, we ask only that you complete brief outcome check-ins - and, if you choose, share what changed.

Honest program, real clinic, real clinicians. No VA affiliation implied. Treatment is only provided when a licensed clinician determines it's appropriate.

What this is
  • A full course of care at no cost for a limited number of local veterans and first responders.
  • The same doctor-supervised treatment every other patient receives - nothing second-tier.
  • A clinical evaluation first, so treatment is only offered when it's appropriate and safe for you.
  • Care coordinated with your own therapist and doctor, with your consent.
What we ask in return
  • Complete brief check-in surveys at the start and at set follow-up points - a few minutes each.
  • Optional: share your story so other veterans and first responders know this exists. Your name, your initials, or nothing at all - your call.
  • That's the whole exchange. No fees, no fine print, no obligation to say anything publicly.

Apply for a founding spot

Tell us a little. We'll take it from there.

Spots are limited and reviewed one at a time. Send this and a real person from our clinical team follows up - no call center, no pressure. If it's not the right fit, we'll still point you to a path that is.

In crisis right now? Call or text 988. This form isn't monitored for emergencies.

Straight answers

The questions everyone asks first.

Is this really free?
Yes. For a limited founding cohort, the treatment course is provided at no cost to you. There's no catch and no hidden bill - the only thing we ask in return is that you complete short check-in surveys so we can measure how you're doing, and, only if you want to, share your story.
What do you ask for in return?
Two things. First, brief check-ins - a few minutes at the start and at set points along the way, rating how you're sleeping, functioning, and feeling. Second, entirely optional: permission to share your experience. You can take part fully and never say a public word.
Who qualifies?
Local veterans and first responders - fire, EMS, police, dispatch, corrections - who are dealing with depression or PTSD and meet the clinical criteria for treatment. A licensed clinician confirms it's appropriate and safe for you before anything begins. If it isn't the right fit, we'll tell you plainly and point you to what is.
Do I have to share my story publicly?
No. Sharing is optional and separate from your care. You choose the level - your full name, initials only, or nothing at all - and you can change your mind at any time.
What if I already have TRICARE or insurance?
The founding program is a separate, no-cost path with a limited number of spots. If the cohort is full or you'd rather use coverage, TRICARE and most insurance cover Spravato when criteria are met, and we handle that paperwork too.
If you're in crisis right now, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or go to your nearest emergency room. Brain Recovery Centers is not an emergency service.
