Original source files and license are retained locally in anatomy-v2/source/; the exact source revision is recorded in its commit.json.

Z-Anatomy's requested source attributions are “BodyParts3D - The Database Center for Life Science - CC-BY-SA 2.1 Japan” and “Z-Anatomy - The libre 3D atlas of anatomy - CC-BY-SA 4.0”. This derived model follows the source distributor's CC BY-SA 4.0 license.

The retained base model also includes these credited atlas additions:

  • CIT168 subcortical atlas, Pauli, Nili & Tyszka (2018), Scientific Data - source, CC BY 4.0.
  • CIT168 amygdala atlas, Tyszka & Pauli (2016) - source, CC BY-SA 4.0.
  • In-vivo probabilistic atlas of human thalamic nuclei, Najdenovska et al. (2018), Scientific Data - source, CC BY-SA 4.0.
  • Hypothalamic region atlas, Neudorfer et al. (2020), Scientific Data - source, CC BY 4.0.
  • HCP1065 population-averaged white-matter tract templates, Yeh (2022), Human Connectome Project. The source identifies these geometry additions as CC BY-SA 4.0; see registration documentation.

Earlier adaptation grouped anatomical structures by hemisphere, centered/scaled the model, recolored it, and reduced polygon density for browser rendering. Version 4 preserves all 40 version 3 base meshes, material definitions, geometry buffers, and anatomical metadata unchanged. It appends six separate highlight overlays, extracted from existing source atlas segments and aligned using the same transformation. They are hidden by metadata and fully transparent by default. No anatomical boundary was fabricated.

Highlight scope: the orbitofrontal overlays contain only the source “Orbital gyri” meshes. The anterior cingulate overlays contain only “Cingulate gyrus and sulcus (Middle anterior part)”. The insula overlays use the source's composite “Insula (Subcentral gyrus and ant. and post. sulci)” meshes. These source regions do not purport to define complete functional or cytoarchitectonic areas. Exact source IDs, names, positions, and triangle counts are in highlight-manifest.json.

Coordinates remain positive X anatomical left, positive Y superior, positive Z anterior. Model is centered, approximately four scene units across its largest dimension. Registered deep structures remain approximate educational atlas anatomy, with upstream registration error described as approximately 7 mm; this is not patient-specific imaging.

Web adaptation for Brain Recovery Centers (October 2026)

hero.glb (the model every visitor gets first, phones included) and hero-hd.glb (the optional desktop model) in this folder are adapted from the upstream Brain Project model kept in anatomy-v2/source/ (described above) and stay under CC BY-SA 4.0. Changes, all made by brain_hero/hd/build_hd.py and the scripts beside it:

  • Decoded the source (Draco), grouped its meshes into 31 structures and sides by the rules anatomy-v2 used, and moved it into anatomy-v2's frame by its recorded centre and scale. White matter, white-matter tracts and ventricles are not included.
  • Cerebral cortex: kept the outer (pial) surface of each gyrus and sulcus and the inner faces that show on the medial wall, and left out the hidden inner faces. Joined coincident vertices and borders that ran side by side a hair apart, removed duplicate and stray triangles, made the winding consistent, and closed small holes and slits between neighbouring surfaces with new triangles. Smoothed the vertex positions (Taubin). In hero-hd.glb the surface is also subdivided once (Loop), which adds vertices and triangles; in hero.glb it is not. Single triangles along the borders between lobes were reassigned to the lobe around them.
  • Deep structures keep the source's own density, except: in hero.glb the cerebellum and the brainstem are version 4's reduction (described above); in hero-hd.glb the two cerebellar hemispheres are anatomy-v2's reduction (30,000 triangles each).
  • Recomputed the normals, added a per-vertex lighting attribute (_BAKE, baked ambient occlusion; shading, not anatomy), quantized positions to 16 bits on one grid shared by both files, and compressed the buffers (EXT_meshopt_compression). hero.glb also carries the camera framing the viewer computed from its previous version (scene extras), so the views do not move.

The images in this folder (poster.webp, poster-640.webp, stop-*.webp) are renders of hero-hd.glb and carry the same license and credit. Dashes in the source attribution are written here as hyphens; nothing else in it was changed.

Safety information

From the SPRAVATO Medication Guide, revised 09/2026. These are excerpts, word for word.

What is the most important information I should know about SPRAVATO?

SPRAVATO may cause serious side effects, including:

How can I watch for and try to prevent suicidal thoughts and actions in myself or a family member?

Pay close attention to any changes and tell your healthcare provider right away if you develop any new or sudden changes in mood, behavior, thoughts, or feelings, or if you develop suicidal thoughts or actions. This is very important when SPRAVATO is started or when the dose is changed.

Tell your healthcare provider or get emergency help right away if you or your family member have any of the following symptoms, especially if they are new, worse, or worry you:

If you're in crisis right now, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or go to your nearest emergency room. Brain Recovery Centers is not an emergency service.

Who should not take SPRAVATO?

Do not take SPRAVATO if you:

If you are not sure if you have any of the above conditions, talk to your healthcare provider before taking SPRAVATO.

Before you take SPRAVATO, tell your healthcare provider about all of your medical conditions, including if you:

What should I avoid while taking SPRAVATO?

Do not drive, operate machinery, or do activities that require you to be fully alert and coordinated after taking SPRAVATO. Do not take part in these activities until the next day following a restful sleep.

What are the possible side effects of SPRAVATO?

Increased blood pressure. SPRAVATO can cause a temporary increase in your blood pressure that may last for about 4 hours after taking a dose. Your healthcare provider will check your blood pressure before taking SPRAVATO and for at least 2 hours after you take SPRAVATO. Tell your healthcare provider right away if you get chest pain, shortness of breath, sudden severe headache, change in vision, or seizures after taking SPRAVATO.

Problems with thinking clearly. Tell your healthcare provider if you have problems thinking or remembering.

Bladder problems. Tell your healthcare provider if you develop trouble urinating, such as a frequent or urgent need to urinate, pain when urinating, or urinating frequently at night.

The most common side effects of SPRAVATO include:

If these common side effects occur, they usually happen right after taking SPRAVATO and go away the same day.

These are not all the possible side effects of SPRAVATO. Call your doctor for medical advice about side effects. You may report side effects to FDA at 1-800-FDA-1088.
